Sergio Pereletegui is a versatile and sales results-driven professional with 15+ years of comprehensive experience in the Wine Industry. He studied Enology and Viticulture and this was after study Political Science, because his father begged him to “study something serious”, so he’s still studying the last subjects….

After nine years as Export Manager in Bodegas Carchelo in Jumilla, Spain, in 2011 Sergio decided to start his own venture and so The Tapas Wine Collection was launched. In a few years the brand experienced double digit growth in sales. In July 2014, he moved to Shanghai to manage Esencia Wines Cellars subsidiary in China as General Manager. At the end of 2015, he had to return to Spain due he was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. He sold the brand and focused on his family and illness.

After total recovery, he back to Bodegas Carchelo for a couple years. As a result of a brutal drop in sales due COVID his contract was terminated so he decided it was time to start a new venture again, so Vineur was born.  At the same time Sergio combines his work in Vineur looking for some wines in Spain, France and Italy to Mundorigen, a Wine Agency representing Chinese importers. 

In his free time he’s in charged about his wine blog project for Spanish market, addressed to wine consumers, is a new way to find wine treasures in the Spanish supermarkets by low cost.

Sergio has paramedical training as part of Emergency Response Unit (ERU) of Spanish Red Cross   to responds immediately to natural disasters or humanitarian emergency situations when they’re called by Emergency Call Center.
